If you have an incorrect market price format in your exported CSV files (it happens with US indexes or EU indexes) follow these steps to fix it:

    1. Open Notepad and search for config file in TD installation folder \TickDownloader\settings\plugins\TDDDukascopy\config.csv
    2. Go to line showing the ticker of your selected market and change the number for decimal position (see fix on screenshot for USA 30 DOW, other indexes should be set also to 3)
    3. Save changes and close Notepad
    4. Restart TickDownloader

Now TD should export your data in correct format

Thank you, Thomas, but what are the correct Settings for piptick size and piptick step for Dax and USA500?

    For DAX30 at Dukas

    pip size 0.01

    min step 0.001

    point value 100 USD

    SP500 should be the same

    Hi,

Why do you not just fix the config file that gets downloaded and installed with the program?

    Regards

    Stef

… should the point value be 100USD or equivalent of 25 EUR recalculated to USD (which is DAX value definition) ?

    Hello,

seems the DAX is 1 EUR per whole point while pip size is 0.01 (0.01 EUR)

    You can check on https://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/cz/marketwatch/forexcalc/pip/
