Hi team,

I’ve reported a bug, also sent you email on your support address. The CSV file generated from DataManager with 1M bar data is not recognized by the strategy tester on MT5. Apparently you get to import it well because it creates the HCC file on the MT5 folder, but when yoy run any Strategy tester on that data you’ll see on the Strategy tester journal the error: No historical data.

It’s BASIC to have this kind of features rock stable. Otherwise we’re loosing resources

The best you can do is to download M1 data in SQX and export them into a CSV file. Then import the M1 data into MT5 for your custom symbol.

In the MT5 Tester select “1 minute OHLC” modelling. You should see the result like shown on the screenshot attached

Ok. Thanks for your fast response. I’ll try it, however the data downloaded on Tick timeframe – Darwinex data for instance; you’re forced to get it by tick, right? – won’t be able to be exported until you solve the bug. Also, take into consideration that when you overwrite a file the system doesn’t work. But at least there’s the possibility to export data. Thanks

There seems to be a small bug when M1 data is exported from downloaded Tick data. There is an incorrect data on the first line which causes MT5 issues with backtesting. It can be easily fixed by deleting the first line in the final CSV file which looks like on the screenshot attached. Developers will fix this into next SQ Data Manager update
