There can be multiple reasons why the license verification process fails. If you have not activated the license yet and you are doing it for the first time make sure your firewall and/or antivirus is not blocking StrategyQuant connection to our licensing system. If you have activated the license code before and it stops working you can try to reset it in our client portal (https://strategyquant.com/clientarea). This should solve the problem in most cases especially after hardware or OS upgrades or if you move your license to another PC.
If the issue persists, please, do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to solve the problem for you. Also bear in mind there is a limit for number of resets you can do on your own in the client portal.
If you have problems verifying the license for the first time we can also issue an offline license file. Once you place this file into the StrategyQuant installation folder you will be able to activate your StrategyQuant copy without having your computer connected to the internet.
