I’ve been using SQX for a while now. Great product, MOST of the time. Currently I have several frustrating problems.
1. First off Report Bug doesnt seem to work. Sometimes I get an error when I submit the request and the few requests I have submitted I never get feedback on. I did not screen shot the last time this happened.
2. Periodically, 2 or 3 times a day, The Equity Chart and Trade Analysis quit working. Sometimes it throws an error, sometimes it does not. The error says something about cannot start at 0. I took a screenshot, tried to upload it to the Debug page and I got an error and lost the screenshot. Once it quits working for one of the strategies, it quits working for all of them. A restart is the only solution I’ve found.
3. Sometimes, when I restart, the Optimizer will load 2 WF Matrix of the same strategy. They both have data and look to be identical (all the data is the same, I can click between them, change the runs/oos% etc) UNTIL… I delete one of them, doesn’t matter which one. Then the other one quits working too. The only solution I’ve found is to save BOTH of them, delete one of the files, delete everything from the results tab and then reload it. As you can imagine its frustrating to lose several hours of data for something so silly.
4. Shut down takes FOREVER because its trying to save files. But if I save those files to my HD BEFORE the shut down it takes a normal amount of time (so something is different between the save at shutdown and the normal save to disk). I’ve gotten to the point where I save everything in all the tabs, delete all the strategies from SQx and it still tries to save a few hundred files.
I can tolerate occasional issues, but its difficult to be understanding when the debug feature doesn’t even work. These problems weirdly just started popping up. I’m not sure what happened, I wasn’t having the weird equity chart and trade analysis problem a few weeks ago. I am using the latest edition, 142.2336 and I have been since it came out. Will someone please assist with this? For several $1000 this software should NOT be so buggy.

As for 1) can you provide links to what you refer to?
2) you can make a screenshot of the issue for us to better understand. We have no other reports like this at the moment
3) do you mean it happens upon SQX startup? What was in the optimized before shutting down? Can you suggest steps to reproduce the issue? If we can reproduce the issue it can be fixed as well
4) how much items do you try to save? Do you use SSD drive or a classic HDD?

2. Screen shots attached of the blank Trade Analysis and Equity chart pages along with shots of the overview and List of Trades (which work).
3. This happens after a shut down and restart, usually to make the blank Trade Analysis and Equity chart pages comes back. It doesn’t do it often, but when it does its always on restart. It loads 2 identical WFA files. Both files work fine within SQx but when I delete one of them the other stops working.
4. I have a 1TB SSD with 900Gig available. It happens regardless of the number of files its trying to save. Sometimes its only 100 files, sometimes its 2000. It seems to get ‘stuck’ on some of them and it takes 2 or 3 minutes per file for 10 – 20 files (I don’t know actually, I usually get impatient and click ‘cancel’). I have a pretty fast computer purpose built for this. i9-13900kf CPU, DDR5 ram etc, its not the computer.

I also, I have tried reloading the software and adjusting the amount of ram its allowed to use (I have 128gig ram). Neither helped.
