Actual hardware recommendations

I am building a SQ dedicated computer and would like to have some advice from the HW experts in the forum.

– Processor: when selecting a non server processor, does it make any significant difference choosing Intel or AMD? Which processor should be the best one? Is it worth to pay 150$ for a 9950x3D instead of buying a 9950x? What about Intel Core i9-14900?

– RAM: I have select 4 x 32 GB = 128 GB, much more affordable than 4 x 48 GB for a 192 GB total. Would it mean sensible differences when generating strategies? 6000 MHz and CL 32 as first idea.

– Any other aspect to be taken into account?

il y a pas une grande différence entre 9950x et 9950x3D dans ton cas

par contre tu fait une erreur , j explique :

4 x 32 GB = 128 mais a une viterre de 3500 pas 6000

le 9950X accept une vitesse maximale de 5600 quand tu met 2 ram , que ca soit ses dual ou single , quand tu passe a 4 ram la vitesse baisse a 3500

donc la meilleure setup cest un kit 2×64 a 6000 , meme si AMD dit que la limitr est 5600 mais c’est juste la limite garantie

et pour le 14900k le 9950X est meilleur  pour SQX

et au faites quel est ton benchmark avec cette setup ?
