I just started with SQ and I already love it, been creating a couple of strategies for FX, but recently I got more and more interested in Crypto \CFD/ trading,my question is:

Does any of you ever created powerful & profitable crypto strategies?

I want to use the changehero service to exchange cryptocurrency. What do you us?

I see it’s been a while since you’ve posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried using StrategyQuant for building crypto strategies with recent data from 2023/2024. I’ve been experimenting with Binance Futures data and wonder how others handle the high volatility and weekend trading in their backtests. Has anyone noticed major differences in performance between CFDs and actual crypto pairs?

I had to manually add the missing Binance CFD symbols into the symbol mapping list using the MetaTrader Market Watch names, then it worked fine for building strategies.

I’ve had issues with crypto CFD data and platform limits, especially with low-liquidity pairs. What really helped me was checking out https://axiomtrade.xyz/what-is-axiom-exchange/ — it explained how that exchange handles spreads and execution, which gave me ideas for adjusting my strategy. Plus, knowing how different exchanges process CFD orders made it easier to tweak my slippage settings in SQX and improve my backtest results.
