ATM

Settings → Money Management → ATM

Gestion avancée du commerce (GAC) is a feature introduced in Construire 130 (marked as experimental) that allows you to configure multiple exit points for a single position. This is particularly useful for dynamically managing trade risk and profit-taking.

Comment ça marche

ATM allows for:

  • Partial profit-taking at predefined price levels
  • Improved risk control by locking in profits early
  • Diversification of exit strategies without altering entry logic

Example Configuration:

  • Exit 50% of the position at 0.5× Profit Target (PT)
  • Exit remaining 50% at 2× PT

Remarque : ATM overrides all original exit logic except for Stop Loss. It replaces any existing PT, trailing stop, or time-based exits.

ATM Size Constraints

To correctly allocate trade sizes across multiple exits, define:

  • Decimal precision of the instrument (e.g., 1 decimal place)
  • Minimum trade size (e.g., 0.1 lots)

Constraint Rule:

If the money management calculates a trade size of 0.1 lots and ATM requires dividing this across two exits of 50% each, it may not be possible to meet the minimum size requirement for both exits. In such cases, only one exit will be applied.

ATM Configuration Source

When ATM is enabled, you can choose the configuration source:

  • ATM saved in strategy: Uses the ATM already embedded in the strategy file.
  • ATM defined in settings: Uses the current screen settings and saves them into the strategy.

Exit Types and Configuration

Each exit can be defined using:

  • A multiples of the original SL or PT
  • A fixed value in pips or points
  • Trailing stops
  • Time-based exits (e.g., exit after X bars)

You can specify the size portion for each exit (e.g., 50% of position size per exit).

ATM is not guaranteed to improve strategy performance but can significantly benefit some strategies. Preliminary results show performance improvement in 10–30% of cases when using simple ATM setups.
