Inside the SQ AI Interface

SQ AI is now available in SQX version 143 or at https://demo.strategyquant.ai/.

Demo AI features a clean, 3-panel interface designed for ease of use.
It consists of 1. Main Chat, 2. Backtest Configuration, 3. Most Recent Backtest.

SQX AI in AlgoWiazrd

In the latest version of SQX, which includes the AI Wizard Module, a new button labeled “AI Wizard” is visible. This button allows us to operate the AI Module.

When we click on it, a new tab opens, inviting us to enter input and initiate communication with the AI.

In the default view, the AI presents 4 options:

• How does this AI assistant work?
  Provides a detailed overview of the AI assistant’s functionality and usage instructions.
• Help me create a new strategy
  Enables the creation of a new, custom strategy, which can be described via text or constructed with our simple wizard tool.
• Help me improve an existing strategy
  Offers options to further refine an already existing strategy, allowing you to specify which part you’d like to enhance.
• Clear chat – start everything over.
  This option deletes existing content and its history to start from scratch

When a user defines a strategy or allows the AI to generate one based on a description, it can be sent to AW and backtested directly in SQX via “Send to AW editor” button.

Format

Each strategy sent to AW follows a standard structure based on the generated Pseudo-Code.
For Single-Asset:

  Specifying Entry and/or Exit Conditions saved in variables

  Specifying the Exit for Long Orders

For Stock-Picker:

  This score is used for ranking purposes. It limits the maximum number of stocks that can be traded and determines which stocks will be selected for trading. Stocks with valid entry signals are sorted by their score, and then the top N stocks are chosen based on this ranking.
