Darwinex broker profile information

Hi SQ,

I’m looking at the spread info for FX pairs that has been pre-applied to the Darwinex broker profile. The spreads seem unusually large. For instance, EUR/AUD is 6.0 pips, EUR/CAD is 6.8 pips and AUD/JPY is 3.0 pips. The largest is EUR/NZD at 9.8 pips!

Can I confirm these are what is expected? I’ve got a Darwinex live account and my actual spreads are much lower – in the “normal” zone. Although I do understand spreads vary throughout the day and different types of account are available.

The spreads shown on the broker profile are so high, I wonder if they are points rather than pips? Or could they have been supplied/quoted at market open?

Yes, I can see the spreads being high compared to the MT5 quotes. I made a note to our dev team to adjust with the latest data from the broker

As for the spreads issue, we intentionally made the spreads a little bigger, but if someone needs it, they can adjust it to their liking. It’s better than making it smaller and not having realistic results
