Preview of new StrategyQuant 130

We are working hard on a new version of StrategyQuant 130, and it will probably be our best one yet.

It is packed with new features that could bring your trading to a next level.

We are releasing a Development Build 1 preview available for testing  – you can download it in the Development version section on our Download page.

We encourage you to test it and let us know if you’ll find any issue by creating a task in our Roadmap.

Few of the features with most impact:

  • Advanced Trade Management (ATM)
allowing multiple exits (scale out), and enabling multiple exits also for already existing strategies.
    Documentation: Settings – ATM

  • Fit to portfolio
filter in Builder – allows looking for strategies that have low correlation with your portfolio of already existing strategies.
Documentation: Fit strategy to existing portfolio

  • SQ for Business – MQL Market support
native support for publishing your strategies to MQL Market and earning another source of income. Only for the ULTIMATE version.
    Documentation and guides in preparation.
  • JForex engine
added support for JForex engine. Still experimental.

Other smaller features:

  • Mass-modify symbols in custom project
allows you to quickly replace symbols / timeframes in all tasks of the custom project
  • Compare backtest config
compare backtest configuration between two strategies and quickly find out what’s different.
Documentation: Comparing and using the same backtest settings
  • PDF report from backtest
save your backtest report into PDF
  • New indicators – KAMA, WoodiesCCI, Hull Moving Average
    and signals based on them
  • Mass-improve build type implemented in Builder
  • Possibility to change type (Minimize/Maximize/Approximate) in weighted fitness configuration
  • Use custom JARs in Snippets – import custom Java JAR libraries to be used in snippets.
    Documentation: Using custom JAR libraries

Check our Roadmap page for a complete list.

Note that this is still a development version, so it is possible that there are some issues. Once again – we encourage you to test it and let us know if you’ll find any issue by creating a task in our Roadmap.

Mass-modify symbols in custom project

Very good idea, maybe could it be extended to Global Variables in the future?
It could be useful when changing anything relatated or not to dates, including also numbers etc. (global change of slippage, values in X or Y indicators etc.)
