Cross or >

Hi what is different when i have slow EMA cross fast EMA or instead i put EMA >EMA

The Cross function is when the slow EMA > fast EMA for the first time.

 

In other words, the logic would be for the cross (above) would be:

slow EMA [2] fast EMA[1] 

where [x] is the candle number back from the current candle.

 

you would use which ever fits your strategy.

 

If one looks at the example in the ‘Home’ section titled EMA Cross is given (at least in my version). In this the explaination is given and a nice picture.
