New data manager empty after transfering over old library

I installed a new strategyquant then copy and pasted all the folders from the old into the new but when I start the new SQ the data manager only has default data in it.

What file am I missing? The new db folder has all the old copied files in it.

/db folder contains the database, and /bin folder contains all the data files. 

So it is enough to copy these two folders. I’m not sure what went wrong in your case, is your old instalation still working?

Try to copy it again and close the old SQ first if it was running. Maybe Db wasn’t copied because it was locked.

Correction: I had the bin folder, but something must have happened to the db folder during my original transfer.

Copied the db folder over now it works, thanks.
