MQ4 -how does it work, when i delete order?

Hi,

i have a pending order on my MT4. What will happpen if i delte it? MT4 will open new one probably.

But if the opened order should expire in 20 bars for example, will the new order expire also in 20 bars? Or it will expire in 50 bars as a new order? which brings me in to topic, if it will expire in 50 bars, i will change many trades to future, dont i?

Or what should i do if i want to increase/decrease open order?

Hi, do you mean how it works with SQ generated EAs and pending orders or can you provide MQ code?

when i have pending order, and i want to increase risk, i have bad luck, because the risk will be increased for next order and i cannot change the pending order size….even if i close pending order, new one will not appear in my case, because the entry condition is not valid yet.

so there is no option how to increase the risk of pending orders?

from what I understand you cannot modify the size of a pending order placed. It needs to be cancelled and resent again with new size
