Benchmark and Strategies per hour

Hi All. Just got SQ Pro and installed on my new PC. Was just wondering what sort of Benchmark should I expect on a 28 core i7 with 32Gb RAM

Benchmark is 131.06

And running the builder with out the box settings I am getting 457.874 per hour.

Is this about right? So based on this it would take some time to come up with 1000 accepted strategies?

This seems adequate. I usually get about 150 000 strategies per hour using 8 cores Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2286M

I’m finding now it’s very dependent on Timeframe, setting and config. I have a build that runs breakouts on the daily and it’s super fast. I have to increase the rankings a bit more to keep the trash out

You’ll find it varies. With your system you should be able to blaze through strategies fast enough. I’ve found 2 building blocks will really slow you down and probably aren’t worth it for roughing out a strategy. The 2 percent rank blocks under “Operators” within the “Indicators” category really slow my machine down. I imagine its best to use them AFTER you’ve found a strategy that uses < or > and see if substituting is helpful.
