Builder producing 0 strategies

Hi everyone,

I have downloaded the ultimate in December to help me with my algo trading journey like the rest of you!

I have had some great luck in getting plenty of robustness passed strategies onto a demo account. I have run plenty of builds and custom projects. However, periodically I will have a build that will run for a number of hours and not produce any strategies which pass my criteria which is often very basic (below). I am running it on a very powerful VPS (16GB RAM – Updated in SQX settings) which makes me think it is not due to giving it enough time.

My typical pass criteria is as per the lessons:

0.5 R/DD per year tested

1.2 profit factor

avg trades per month > 1

sharpe ratio > 1

I am sure someone will ask for the config of an example, at the moment I do not have one as I was not planned enough to save an example for this post. However, when it next happens I will add it here.

I have found that by being too restrictive in the building blocks will often lead to SQX struggling to find things to pass.

Essentially, I am just asking the community if they have had this issue before and any tips you might have to overcoming it will be very much appreciated.
