GUI very buggy

Recently SQX (build 135) has been very buggy on the GUI. Specifically in algowizard when i open a drop down menu and try to change any field it doesn’t allow. The drop down appears but i cant select anything.

when i hover my mouse over a field the option three inches above it gets highlighted instead of where the mouse cursor is. Basically impossible to use like this and restarting the pc doesnt help.

I think only option is to try uninstall and reinstall. Is this recommended and are there some things i need to be aware of before i try?
