[Question] Files stored in TEMP

I have been using StrategyQuant for two days on a server with 200GB of storage and today I realized that it was not generating any more strategies and it is because the hard disk was full with the files that it stores inside its StrategyQuant temp folder… I have had to delete them manually to allow me to continue generating strategies. Is there any way to make the deletion of those files automatic?

When the software no longer uses them, automatically delete them in real time from the folder. This way we will avoid saturating the hard disk..

do you mean files located in \internal\tmp\stock ?

These are store due to the enable option “Store Chart data” under Trading Options settings. The file should be remove as soon as you restart SQ or delete corresponding strategies from your databank
