Strategy Sample Inside Bar Breakout problem

As an intorduction to Algowizard, i tried to run Inside Bar Breakout strategy.

Getting message “Strategy produces to many trades closing on the same bar”

This is for different timeframes ( 1H, 4H etc) and different currency pairs ( EURUSD, UDDGBP)

Is there a specific reason for this behaviour ?

Hi,

these are trades that open and close inside the same bar. It usually is a problem when the backtesting precision is too low. If you are getting a lot of these strategies consider using smaller timeframe or increase SL & PT size significantly.

Also increasing backtesting precision to “real tick” or at least “1 minute” will help to get precise results
