Time adoption problem

Hi All
Is it right to create a database containing information about every minute of a symbol using the information we get from MetaTrader on a 1-minute timeframe, then in case we want to have strategies on a 5-minute timeframe, Use that created bank, but in the drop-down menu of the data page where we can specify the timing of our strategies, use a 5-minute time frame, for example?
Or maybe it’s better to download 5-minute data from MetaTrader right from the start, and use it to generate 5-minute strategies?
Which one is more correct?

if you import 1 minute data you can select any supported timerame above such as 5min, 15 min etc. No need to import data separately for each timeframe
