Sequential Optimization

Sequential Optimization in Cross-Check function does have some function as the Sequential Optimization on the Optimizer tab, describes here:

Cross-Check Usage
Sequential Optimization can be used as a robustness cross-check, where the optimizer:
- Attempts to optimize each parameter using sequential logic
- Fails the strategy if too few stable regions are found
- Evaluates the robustness and parameter sensitivity of the strategy
This helps filter out strategies that rely on fragile or narrowly optimized parameter sets.
Dependency on Original Parameter Values
Note that sequential optimization is order-dependent:
- Each step uses previously optimized values
- Optimization result may vary if initial parameter values are changed
Best practice: Use reasonable defaults for initial values or run the process multiple times with varied starting points for better statistical confidence.
