Hello Mark,

Can you explain that how much ticks are generated internally in SQ backtest module if the data source file have no volume field?

In MT4, as I know, if volume is 100, 100 ticks are generated when we run backtest (every tick mode). it is saved into fxt file format.

then, How about the backtest module of SQ if imported data has no volume field?

Best,

Malim

In SQ in Tick Simulation precision it generates 4 ticks per minute, independent on the volume.

Is there a possibility to have an option to use Tick volume (a checkbox) in the simulation?

I’ll think about it for the new version, but I’m not sure it is necessary. Backtesting precision can be achieved by other methods than just simulating many ticks.
