Building blocks for trending strategies

Hey everyone, was looking for ideas on building blocks for trending strategies. Most of the EA’s I come up with from SQ seem to look for setups ‘counter trend’ – which works pretty well in a ranging market but nothing I’ve made has really nailed it on the massive falls in most things against the USD in the last year or so.

Just wondering if anyone had some ideas of different building blocks or setting to try to maximise gains in trending markets.
