Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me with the indicator angle function in EA Wizard.

I am wanting to make an order when comparing shift 7 and shift 1 and the angle is past a certain point (45 Degrees for my example).

You can see in my screen shot from MT4 that i wouldn’t want to take a trade at this point as the angle is only 3.5 degrees.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

it seems to be set correctly as you set it on your screenshot in EA WIzard. Have you tested it in MetaTrader?

Also be aware that its usability very much depends on correct setting of the Coefficient parameter.
The indicator angle that you see on the screen depends on the scale of the chart and timeframe, it is not possible to recognize this all by EA.
The good Coefficient value for all price indicators like EMA, Bollinger Bands, etc. is 0.00005 (0.005 for JPY-based pairs). For indicators like CCI, the best value of Coefficient is around 25-50.

Hi sdstrading

Excuse my ignorance, but I was about to ask the forum how to get the angle to display on the chart as you have done.  What is the trick if you don’t mind me asking?  What Have I missed?

Thanks in advance
