Tick Downloader : ERROR – Destination Directory is not specified

Just installed Tick Downloader and no matter if I just select a symbol and hit download or if I change the destination directory, I always get the error message “Destination Directory is not specified”.

What directory path do you have set? Click on the Settings button next to the ad in the header.

I tried

1. the default, without changing anything (actually it is empty when I go to settings)
2. I used the settings-button to set it to a (simple) path – see my screenshots

Even I have have set (and saved) the path in Settings, if I go to settings again the Directory path is empty.

It is because you changed the default installation directory when you installed the software. Uninstall it, and reinstall it in the default folder.
