Saving Expert to file error message

Hi all,

I am getting this error message when trying to save my expert to my metatrader directory. as either expert or indicator:

“Cannot save file to : XXXXXX(metatrader directory). Make sure the target file is write enabled and not opened in another program”

Will appreciate any help. Thanks.
