Hi guys,  maybe you can help with this quick question.

When an indicator in EAwizard has both positive and negative values, how do we compare the negative value of an indicator in MT4 compared to a predefined variable value?

For example from what i remember of simple math -60 is always > (Greater than) -100 ?

I almost feel dumb asking this but while waiting for a signal during an EA back-test in MT4 I questioned whether MT4 views -100 as > (Greater than) -60 ?  Something didn’t look quite right, so I thought I’d ask.

See a simple question right??

thanks

The best here is an example. Made it using the CCI indicator. It buys when CCI line creates a “bottom” below certain negative value

Thanks for the elaborate script 🙂

I modified it and played with it until I got bored but I see your point,  -100 is in fact  < (Less Than) -30  as expected.

Which means I was doing something else wrong

:p

Thanks for the clarification
