Calculate Maximum Favorable Excursion (MFE), Maximum Adverse Excursion (MAE)

Hi there,

Is it possible to implement MFE and MAE calculations in your next Quant Analyzer release? Attached is the code from MQL4 forum.

You can only calculate MAE and MFE if you know the prices inbetween opening and closing a trade. Since the feed into QA is usually just a list of open and close prices, you cannot calculate the MAE and MFE values.

The MQ4 script uses MT4 M1 bars to make the calculations, QA doesn’t have a price feed.
