Is the generic evolution memoriless?

Hi everyone,

If I run genetic mode in strategy build up process, stop it in the middle, and restart it again, how will this behavior affect the quality of the strategy? Will this be worse than if I run the genetic evolution from the very beginning and never stop?

Has anyone got some ideas?

To my understanding none of the strategies rules, pass or fail, are “remembered”. The probability of generating the exact same strategy (same parameters) is highly improbable, though very similar ones are probably generated quite often.
