The EAs I’m creating work in walk forward but can’t backtest

Hi,

I have just purchased the EA wizard and really loving it so far. I’ve created a couple of EAs which appear to be working fine when I forward test them. However they fall down in backtesting. Basically as soon as a trade is taken the test finishes and I get a “tester cannot calculate prices” message. At first I thought this might be due to using hidden stops but using normal stops makes no difference. Any suggestions?

The best you can do is to upload your strategy file or project file for EA WIzard so I can check that?

What backtesting precision do you use in MetaTrader?

Ok – I will post them in the private support. I’ve tried using every tick, control points and open prices with no joy
