crosses above

I am having trouble getting the cross above function to work the way I expect it to.  Maybe I am misunderstanding what it should do.  I thought that a statement like this “Bid crosses above highest(3)(1)”  would buy when the price crossed above the highest high of the previous 3 bars.  It doesn’t.

Do you use “every tick” backtest precision in MetaTrader?  It should work as you set it up.
