I’m currently using v4.3.0. By default, crude oil data stops downloading sometime after Sept 2014 because the directory no longer uses WTICMDUSD as its directory, leading to this error:
Unable to download file http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/WTICMDUSD/2015/10/21/09h_ticks.bi5
To remedy this, I modified C:\TickDownloader\settings\plugins\TDDDukascopy\config.csv by replacing
“WTICMDUSD;WTI Light Crude Oil;Commodities;20.09.2011;3”
with “LIGHTCMDUSD;WTI Light Crude Oil;Commodities;20.09.2011;3”
This solution works well for the data I was previously unable to download, reflecting that the directory link changes from “http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/WTICMDUSD/2015/10/21/09h_ticks.bi5″ to “http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/LIGHTCMDUSD/2015/10/21/09h_ticks.bi5″.
Unfortunately, I then receive this error: “Unable to download file http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/LIGHTCMDUSD/2011/08/21/08h_ticks.bi5″,suggesting that data prior to ~Sept 2014 is still stored on the server under WTICMDUSD instead of LIGHTCMDUSD.
So I added an extra line to the config file. I am now essentially downloading crude oil data in two parts, pre-Sept 2014 (WTICMDUSD) and post-Sept 2017 (LIGHTCMDUSD). I can now dl all crude oil data however the program still sees them as two securities.
Can someone change a name of the folder on the server so that the names are consistent?

Hello,
seems Dukascopy has changed the ticker for the crude oil market. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it on our side
