Backtesting merged EAs in MT4 – No trade

Hi Tomas and other strategy quant users. Would anyone be willing to tell me how to test a merged portfolio of EAs in MT4? I was able to test my EAs individually but merging them together resulted in no trade execution. Many thanks!

Hello,

usually MT4 log tells you the reason why no trades are being open. Please check and make sure there are no errors.

If all strategies work individually they should also work as a portfolio

Thanks, Tomas! That was what I thought too but couldn’t find any error in the log file. Please see attached file.

Sorry, attached is the log file. The merged EAs don’t open any trade during the backtest and there no logged error to indicate a reason for that.
