Break out of tendency line

I’m looking to create an EA that measures the tendency line and when the price break out, in opens a FIB and waits for the price to retrace.

What indicator should I use to check for that tendency line? or tendency line break out

Hi,
I am not familiar with any tool that could do this effectively. I mean to auto-detect a trendline. Maybe others have tried?
