End of day exit

Hello

When we enable the “Exit at end of day” setting, how does it translate on the code generated for MQ4? Let’s say end of day is at 16:00 and I set “Exit and end of day” to true… Then the EA will try to close the trades at 16:00 correct?

But at 16:00 the market is already closed / closing, and likely the close order wont get filled. How to handle this?

you need to set the exit time before market closes. Otherwise your positions remain open until next market open
