How to make sure average trades per month are more than 3?

filter average trades per month is not working correctly

there are some years that are almost flat, no trades

eg over trades in previous years and then next year or two is flat

how to make sure that each month has at least 3 trades?

This cannot be strictly defined, you can only refer to the monthly average i.e. “Avg Trades Per Month” in SQX

How is the “Avg. Trades Per Month” calculated? How does it work?

Hi,

the formula is # of trades total (NumberOfTrades) divided by # of months (TotalDataMonths) in backtest
