Hi friends,

May I know if there is a direct mapping of the symbol specification in MT5 to the instrument settings in SQX?  I captured the specification of XAUUSD from my broker.  How can I enter the instrument settings correctly?

Hi,

it is simple. The SQ point value is basically the “contract size” being 100 USD in case of XAUUSD.

The pip size and step are equal and it is what the item “tick size” states in MT5 being 0.01

The spread is better evaluated from the Bid/Ask prices. Divide the difference by the tick size

Now set the swap values in “points” and that’s it
