how to use templates

i am just curious how to use template generating

i tihink it will work like this

1 – i want strategy with TP on FIBO

2 – i will make template with TP on FIBO

3 – i will put this template to build process and SQX will make the strategies with this type of TP

am i right? because i cant figure out how the templates work now

I had similar problem, there is no documentation for working with templates. So I’ve built my template-strategies using a random template example from the template folder: \StrategyQuantX\user\settings\StrategyTemplates\SQ4StrategyTemplateExample.sq4.

It works quite well, but there are still some unsolved annoying bugs:
