Hi,

I am quite alarmed that my Antivirus software (COMODO Internet Security Premium ) found malware in XEND76034.dll located in C:\EA Wizard\rt\jetrt\

I am reluctant to use EA Wizard since the malware has been detected.

Please give me your reasons why this could be a false negative.
Attached is the Antivirus log.

Thank you,
Jamie

Hello,

I understand this to be a false positive / comodo only alert. See here https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/174d717e15a49f17de6524e4a0e5c3975bde96b8c3a470c96958dc0bc40c6c2d/detection

I will forward this to Mark though

Thanks for the link Tomas.

Perhaps you should ask Comodo to remove XEND76034.dll from their next virus signature update as it is the only virus scanning software detecting it.

thank you for letting us know, I already submitted the file to Comodo as false positive. Hopefully they’ll remove it from their databases soon.
