Min distance of this symbol is greater than min distance set in SQ

Hello everybody,

I need your help. I have tried to start an EA generated by StrategyQuant X and I received this error:
“2021.10.11 20:59:05.057 Portfolio EURUSD,H1: – SQ LOG 2021.10.11 18:59 Warning! Min distance of this symbol is greater than min distance set in SQ! The backtest results may differ”

What does it mean and how could I solve the problem?

Hello,

some brokers simply do not let you place stop orders too close to the current market price. SQ setting is then used to match the broker’s. But what you see is just a warning / notice.

If your broker’s min stop distance is 5 pips and current market price is let’s say 1.0000 then the closest price you can place an order at will be 1.0005 or 0.9995 alternatively
