I’m trying to understand what selecting ‘exit rule’ does exactly. I selected no indicator to be used in my configuration and I selected TP, SL and ‘exit rule’ as the only ways of closing a trade. What is that last option doing if I selected no indicators? What exit rule is applied then?

Hi,

even if no indicator is used it can still work with prices for example as follows:

LongExitSignal = (((High(Main chart)[1] < High(Main chart)[3])
   and (High(Main chart)[3] is rising for 3 bars  at 2 bar ago))
   and (Low(Main chart)[3] is falling for 2 bars at 3 bar ago));

Thank you for your anwser. And are those conditions completely random or are they related in any way with the selected settings for entry signals?

Couls you please provide some more info on my second question? I would appreciate.

Hello,

the rules are basically random if not manually specified in a template for example. Blocks have own logic though so they have some definitions on how it can be used with other blocks to prevent some nonsensical combinations
