NinjaTradet backtesting

Hi Guys,

I know it might be a trivial questions, but how do you backtest on NinjaTrader as it lets only to go back 1 year (tick data test).

yes, you need to obtain additional data from external sources if your broker provides only limited history

thanks for your quick response. I’m with FXCM, how reliable is limited data on NT, as MT4 had always problems.

FXCM data is limited I believe. You will need longer period of historical data so external data sources might be necessary to backtest properly
