Open Prices with IsBarOpen = True

Dear Traders,

For those of you using IsBarOpen = True, have you tried comparing MT4 backtesting results between the ‘Open Prices only’ and ‘Every Tick’ models? My understanding is that results should be similar, but I am seeing significant differences.

it totally depends on strategy rules (how big SL and PT are, whether pending orders are used etc). For certain strategies results should be same especially when referencing only historical data (shift >=1)
