Pivot Points Help

I don’t understand how the pivot points work.

There is a start hour and a start minute so I thought these are always daily Pivot Points.
But when I change the timeframe from D1 to H1 or M15 I get different results.

Also, I don’t know what shift means in this context.
If Shift is set to 1, does it return the Pivot Point of yesterday based on the start hour and start minute of the day before yesterday?

In other words: What do I have to do, to get the daily pivot points of today? Is it only possible to get the daily Pivots from the D1 timeframe or also from the M15 timeframe?

the Pivot indicator has adjustable start / stop time and that time determines pivot levels. It can be set anyhow down to minute precision
