Processor power SQ4

Hi, I am testing SQ4 beta 9. But my power of processor is only between 30 til 70%.
Why ?

How did you set in performace? See atached

Here are my Settings

You can try to add some memory and enable affinity.

These are the only difference with mine, and my cpu is medium over 92%

I Change Settings, the first 2-3 hours power is between 80-100%, but today morning only between 30-50%

Can someone from support please explain why not using
full cpu power in SQ4 ?

What is your CPU? And do you have been able to use all CPU power with SQ3?

CPU is AMD Ryzen7 8core, under SQ3 I have full power

sorry about that, it is probably nothing wrong on your side. We will be looking at it.

We plan to make it work so that it uses 100% CPU when configured, there is some bug that is causing it to not use 100% power when you have a lot of cores.

If i random gen on 5 min bars the cpu usage on my 40 core is only 3 to 4% after 12 hours. It is probably faster to use my phone. This has been brought up from the first beta 1. I have even installed it directly on a ram drive and is has no effect. I bring that up since Mark in a comment wrote that WFA is using the harddrive to cache which can slow it down but it dont help WFA speed or Montecarlo or random gen only to have it all run on a ram drive.

Low CPU usage could be because of 32 bit java installed in your computer. I removed 32 bit and installed 64 bit java and the cpu usage went up to 98 %

SQ X has its own Java 64bit installation.

We made some improvements in the last build 108, does it work for you now?

What are your performance settings? Do you use all cores?
