Recent MT5 update broke something in QA4

Im not sure when this “feature” was added. I went through the release notes for the previous updates and found nothing regarding this. The problem is that when backtesting multi-symbol EAs on MT5 (desktop) now consolidates symbols and lot sizes in the <span class=”mark”>Deals results</span> page, for example.

System 1(magic# 100) buy in @ 0.01 on CHFJPY
System 2(magic# 200) buy in @ 0.01 on CHFJPY

The results are consolidated when System 1 and System 2 sell those positions! I only use 0.01 in my workflow.

When I load an MT5 report into QA4, instead of recognizing 2 separate profits, QA4 only calculates 1 profit. I posted this on the MQL5 forums and of course, it got buried and no responses.

So I just found out the difference between a Hedging account and Netting account and thats what is causing this. My client was connected to a netting account. Resolved!

If mods could please delete this thread!
