Restrict indicator calculations to time range

I am trying to have the RSI calculated only on a specific range of bars when determining daily candles, i.e. on the NY trading session instead of 24 hours. This to counter that my MT5 data provider does not offer eg ES.D but rather only continuous 24 hours which significantly impacts strategy calculation. Is there any way to achieve this so (calculation in MT5 export code would need to match). If not, could you take that on the development list? Happy to discuss further. Thank you!

I notee that this feature is also urgently requested by Ali Casey / StatOasis. Is there any ETA on when the feature is coming?
