Hello. I’m trying to make the Rate of Change indicator in Custom Blocks as mentioned in one of SQXs Blogs and I’m struggling with the Close[ Period ] part that has to be green.

Hi,

if you want to use a parameter in the formula that will be applied to “shift” you need to select the correct type. Then it can be applied. See the screenshot attached

Thank you. I was confused because in the blog there is only one that is Close[Chart. Period] not both like in this picture. I will try again to see if it works.

I would like to see if ROC(20) is rising or falling. The way I think I could do that is to add a condition like this:

ROC(20)[0] > ROC(20)[1]

But after I did the custom block as described above I don’t get a choice to choose the [0] or [1].
