Simple support-resistance trading system tutorial for EA Wizard

I follwed the tutorial on the blog and then compiled the EA with the editor without error but it does not generates any trade and does not draw any line……….

it seems the only error is you setup variables incorrectly (types). The correct type for lastSupport and lastResistance should be “double” not “int”. This way EA set the S/R price to 1 and dismisses the fraction part of price

I modified the strategy and now it draw the lines for support and resistance but the matter is that It does not update them. So it is not useful becouse the price go far from lines and it does not work …….. It generates in EURUSD M30 from 01.01.2016 to 29.09.2017 only 6 orders all them in January 2016…… where is the bug?

Maybe Did i misunderstand and the EA has to work manually?

Hello,

yes, you need to modify the lines by hand. Once you modify it will reset the trades counter so the EA can trade again at a new level

Hi Tomas, I am using this EA, but many times it seems does not work. The bar cross above or below support or resistance and close from other way but the trade does not start. I have set max trades at 100 so does not has limit to work but it is not correct work. I am moving S/R lines but is always not a linear work. Any tip?

this version works well but. The logic stays the same just modified PT/SL. Trades now 2 trades per S/R level
