Hi,
I have made a speedtest with the SQ 4 Beta 5.
This version bings the processor to the limit
Please use the attached settings to compare the generationspeed
(The xmlfile is zipped)
My System checks with this setting “SpeedtestSettings.xml”
57000 Strategies per Hour.
Intel Core i7 920

Depends on you settings. I am generating with data from 2003-2017-08-25 1H on 1 min resolution and all indicators etc and it is only using 1 CPU ofcourse even if it say´s that i have 40 cores but i guess they mean 40 threads from one CPU and not 40 hyper thread cores. Maybe it uses all threads if You start 2 projects.
Also after one day of generating with 2 RDD as the only ranking option it has not found even one strategy.
With my settings i only get 3000 str per hour and the CPU it currently runs on is like one i7 6950X plus 2 of yours.

Pointless test without using the EXACT same data for the symbol. Sorry.

Well maybe point less but who cares . Now at 100% using Genetic EVO and 40 islands with Hyperthreading turned off.

I bought a Ryzen 1700/64GB
It generates 130.000 Str/h
The power consumption of this machine was only 120 Watt.
Later I will make an overview about all my machines. But I think the Ryzen 1700 is the fastest at the moment. It is faster than a i7 3930.

Which kind of data are you guys using? I don´t get the point of this test. If I use 30 years of data then I get 2000 strategies per hour, if I use one day, I get several million LOL. Without that being standardized, this test is for the bin.
