Strategy Generation Vs Source Code Platform

Is it possible to use strategies generated with Trading Engine set for MT5 (for example) but source code generated for MT4?

I generated gold strategies with Trading Engine setting set to MT5 (hedged). My MT5, however, is acting up and I would like to import these strategies into MT4.

Hi,

you can simply retest the strategy using different MT engine and then export the code. They are very similar (the same for most strategies). The way indicators are being calculated match between MT4 and MT5
